The company is the UK’s largest stockist of foam centred board products, and are specialist suppliers of display board, laminates, specialist finishes and films. The newly developed biodegradable foamboard contains 15% recycled content, and is formulated with bio resins. These bio resins cause the discarded foamboard to degrade in landfills or commercial composters once the foam is exposed to a bacteria-rich environment.

Whereas conventional foamboards will not biodegrade for 80 to 450 years, Foamboard Online’s exclusive polystyrene centre requires just one to five years for 100% breakdown when discarded into a landfill, or similar solid waste facility.
