Dangers of Obesity

As a local councillor and active member of my community, I proposed that we provide a local service to inform and educate the community on the risks and dangers of the growing obesity epidemic.

The dangers of obesity reach further than one might think. Although heart disease and a deficiency of the circulatory system are well-known dangers of obesity, the condition can also lead to infertility, impotence and a reduction in the efficiency of the immune system.

Globesity understands where the obesity epidemic has stemmed from in a world where higher standards of living, increased food supply, 24/7 lifestyles, inexpensive fast-food, mass car ownership and two wage households have brought about an unfortunate fundamental change in what people eat and how often they exercise.

The consultancy focuses on the consequences of these factors during their programs, and informs on the means in which to first manage, and then treat and prevent the ongoing problem.
