Having wanted to get back into hockey for years, I finally did something about it and joined the local team. I hadn't played for a number of years after sustaining an injury not long after I'd finished university and was really looking forward to getting back into the game.

Having been out of touch with the game for so long, my equipment was looking pretty jaded, and my stick could do with being an extra inch or so.

I fired up the computer and checked out the Internet for some hockey accessories stockists. Nedstar stood out head and shoulders above the rest. Their overall design, which I read had been influenced by motor x and skating, was really striking.

I selected a stick that I liked called the slappavanavich, and also went for their phat boy equipment bag.

When my order arrived I was over the moon with the quality of both products, and found myself counting down the days until my first training session. Just one day to go now, and I really can't wait!
