Marine First Aid

I took a first aid course in school, although that was some time ago now. As I’d recently taken up yachting I decided to take a marine first aid course. I found the course at Salcombe Sea N Shore Training absolutely fantastic and ended up going back to them again to see what else they had to offer me.

Their Royal Yachting Association course is held at the Salcombe Yacht Club and provided terrific value for money as well as great flexibility. I travel around the country a lot in my line of work and find it impossible to dedicate an entire day to one thing.

Salcombe Sea N Shore Training were great with me and were more than happy for me to complete the eight hour course over two half days, the usual hours being 9am-5pm every Monday.

I am now confident in my ability to deal with any on board crisis that should arise, while the course has also given me a greater understanding of first aid in general.

I also purchased a good deal of safety equipment via their online shop, available at salcombe-sea-n-shore-training.com. My experience provided me with quality and well as value for money, and I will definitely be seeing them again.
